Bo Alerfeldt – Chairman
Bo Alerfeldt has 25 years of experience with IBM Sweden, where he held leading positions, among others, executive vice president. He has held similar positions at Posten (Swedish Post). Bo was responsible for corporate businesses and structural changes within Posten, and he was responsible for their national and international logistics companies. He has run his own business since 2006, which is focused on logistics. Bo serves on a number of other boards within air cargo and in a number of IT-related networks. He also functions as a mentor for start-up companies.
Bengt Wallentin – Board Member and CEO
Bengt Wallentin is chief executive officer of the eBuilder Group. As CEO, Bengt establishes and oversees the company's operations and long-term strategic direction. Bengt brings with him more than 30 years of experience in building international technology and services businesses. Prior to joining eBuilder, Bengt founded and, for 18 years, served as president and CEO of Frontec, a Swedish-based IT consultancy firm pioneering the creation of efficient business processes based on the use of IT. During his time with Frontec, Bengt grew the company from 20 to over 1,200 employees in twelve countries. He took the company public in early 1995. Before starting Frontec, Bengt ran his own company, ElectroNova, which was a pioneer in the use of microprocessors across a variety of applications. Bengt received a master's degree in electronic engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Swedish Employers Association (SAF). Bengt has also contributed to the development of the Swedish IT industry by serving as vice-chairman of The Swedish IT Association and as a board member of the Swedish IT Employers Association.
Frantz-Lys Cajuste – Board Member
Frantz-Lys Caljuste has been active in the venture capital industry for more than 15 years. His focus is on managing international organizations in a global environment. He has extensive experience from working in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Franz-Lys has worked in Sweden since the late 90s and has broad knowledge of venture capital management in technology companies.
Michael Medin – Board Member
Michael Medin is the chief technology officer of the eBuilder Group, with the overall responsibility for the company´s research and development. He is also the managing director of eBuilder’s Technology Center in Sri Lanka. He has over 30 years of experience in the software industry, primarily in product development and service management. Before joining eBuilder, Michael held leading international positions at Ericsson, Siemens, Frontec, and other growth companies. Michael has a master of science in applied physics and electrical engineering from the Institute of Technology at the University of Linköping, Sweden.
Lars Ringsby – Board Member
Lars Ringsby manages business development for eBuilder’s long term strategic offerings. In conjunction with this role, he also manages key customers, partners, and projects during the business development phase. He is currently acting vice president for eBuilder’s Procurement Processes. Lars has more than 30 years of experience in running large-scale projects, product management, sales, development, and operations. Lars has management experience from global software and technology companies offering enterprise-level solutions, as well as experience in running the solutions on the purchasing side. Prior to joining eBuilder, Lars was head of Business Development and Sales for Telia Electronic Commerce (a TeliaSonera company), a provider of eServices (B/B and B/C) for the private and public sectors. He has served as vice president of Frontec AMT, where he was responsible for key accounts and the development of purchasing services globally. Before joining Frontec, Lars was vice president of Stora Enso Purchasing and Transport, acting as CFO and responsible for global business development. He was also a member of Stora Enso’s Purchasing and Transport board of directors. Lars has been the chairman of the PAPINET organization and a member of the Western European EDIFACT board. He is currently a board member for a master's program of business meeting management. Lars received a master of science in mechanical engineering (special focus: material management) from the Institute of Technology at the University of Linköping, Sweden, and holds further qualifications in purchasing, negotiations, marketing, and sales.
Katarina Bonde – Board Member
Katarina Bonde has extensive experience in the IT industry, for example, she has held leading positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, has been CEO of Programator Industry, and she was CEO of Captura International Ltd. in the United States. Other positions she has held are CEO of UniSite Software Inc., chairman of Netreflector Inc., vice president of Timeline Software Inc., and marketing director of Dun & Bradstreet Software. Katarina currently serves on the boards of Orc Software, LBI International, The Royal Opera (Stockholm), and 6e AP-fonden (Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund) and is chairman of the board of Aptilo Networks and of Propellerhead Software.
Tommy Nilsson – Board Member
Tommy has long and extensive experience in the IT industry. He is currently investment director, technology, at Industrifonden. Before joining Industrifonden, he held positions as supply chain manager for Ericsson and business area manager for Enator. He is a founder and the president of ConcisConsulting. Tommy also serves on a number of other boards within different business segments.
Hadar Cars – Board Member
Hadar Cars is a partner at Eqvitec Partners AB. He has more than ten years of experience in the field of technology investments. He has a telecommunications background that includes serving as general manager within the Ericsson Group, as president of Cellpoint Systems AB, and as a co-founder of Orange Sweden AB. Hadar holds an MSc from the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
Pål Malmros – Deputy
Pål Malmros is an Investment Manager at Verdane Capital Advisors, where he has been instrumental in building and exiting a number of successful investments, primarily in the technology, media and e-commerce sectors. Before joining Verdane, Pål occupied various positions in the Scandinavian media house Schibsted, including that of Marketing and Business Development Director at hitta.se, one of Sweden’s most visited websites. He also has a background as management consultant at McKinsey & Company, and holds an MSc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Ann Nilsson – Deputy
Ann Nilsson is a deputy board member. She has many years of experience in corporate leadership and business development. She is a founder of Competence In Management CIM AB, a previous owner and CEO of Great Place to Work (R) Institute, and she has served as CEO of WatsonWyatt. Ann has served on the boards of TagMaster, Teknikbrostiftelsen in Luleå, Frontec, MagToys, Samhall Kablage, Oxford Research, IFTDO, Polardörren, and Kapelluddengruppen.
Åsa Knutsson – Deputy
Åsa Knutsson brings with her experience from positions with several venture capital firms, including serving as CEO of Mjärdevi Business Incubator and as an investment controller at Investor Growth Capital. Åsa is currently investment manager at Industrifonden and holds an MSc in business administration.
