Management Team

The eBuilder management team oversees the strategic global direction of the company. The team consists of seven people with many years of experience in large international companies.

Bengt Wallentin – Chief Executive Officer

 Bengt Wallentin is chief executive officer of the eBuilder Group. As CEO, Bengt establishes and oversees the company's operations and long-term strategic direction. Bengt brings with him more than 30 years of experience in building international technology and services businesses. Prior to joining eBuilder, Bengt founded and, for 18 years, served as president and CEO of Frontec, a Swedish-based IT consultancy firm pioneering the creation of efficient business processes based on the use of IT. During his time with Frontec, Bengt grew the company from 20 to over 1,200 employees in twelve countries. He took the company public in early 1995. Before starting Frontec, Bengt ran his own company, ElectroNova, which was a pioneer in the use of microprocessors across a variety of applications. Bengt received a masters degree in electronic engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, and a bachelors degree in business administration from the Swedish Employers Association (SAF). Bengt has also contributed to the development of the Swedish IT industry by serving as vice-chairman of The Swedish IT Association and as a board member of the Swedish IT Employers Association.

 

Per Månsson – Chief Financial Officer

 Per Månsson is the chief financial officer of the eBuilder Group with overall responsibility for the finance and accounting functions. He brings to eBuilder more than 20 years of experience from various positions in the telecommunications and the management consulting sectors. Prior to joining eBuilder, he co-founded the 3G mobile operator “ice.net,” where he first served as CFO, before becoming CEO. He has held senior positions at B2 Bredband AB (later acquired by Telenor), Accenture (Andersen Consulting), and he spent eight years at Ericsson managing, among other things, mobile systems sales in Japan. Per holds an MSc in engineering physics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.

 

Anders Mårtensson – Chief Operating Officer

 Anders Mårtensson is eBuilder’s chief operating officer and oversees the eBuilder Group’s operational activities and the optimization of its day-to-day operations. He was the CEO of the Parcelhouse Group, acquired by eBuilder in 2006. Prior to joining eBuilder, Anders was the CEO of Sonat AB, a provider of outsourcing services within the field of supply chain management. He brings to eBuilder more than 20 years of experience from a range of roles in software, consulting, and outsourcing companies. Anders is the vice-chairman of SILF, a member organization of the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM) and the European Logistics Association (ELA). He also serves as the chairman of SILF Competence, a competence development company within supply chain management and purchasing. He holds a licentiate of engineering in business logistics and transport systems from the University of Linköping and a masters of science in industrial engineering and management from the Linköping Institute of Technology.

 

Michael Medin – Chief Technology Officer

 Michael Medin is the chief technology officer of the eBuilder Group, with the overall responsibility for the company´s research and development. He is also the managing director of eBuilder’s Technology Center in Sri Lanka. He has over 30 years of experience in the software industry, primarily in product development and service management. Before joining eBuilder, Michael held leading international positions in Ericsson, Siemens, Frontec, and other growth companies. Michael has a master of science in applied physics and electrical engineering from the Institute of Technology at the University of Linköping, Sweden.

 

Lars Ringsby – Senior Vice President, Business Development; Acting Vice President, Procurement Solutions

 Lars Ringsby manages business development for eBuilder’s long term strategic offerings. In conjunction with this role, he also manages key customers, partners, and projects during the business development phase. He is currently acting Vice President for eBuilder’s Procurement Processes. Lars is a member of the eBuilder board and has more than 30 years of experience in running large-scale projects, product management, sales, development, and operations. Lars has management experience from global software and technology companies offering enterprise-level solutions, as well as experience in running the solutions on the buyer side. Prior to joining eBuilder, Lars was head of Business Development and Sales for Telia Electronic Commerce (a TeliaSonera company), a provider of eServices (B/B and B/C) for the private and public sectors. He has served as vice president of Frontec AMT, where he was responsible for key accounts and the development of purchasing services globally. Before joining Frontec, Lars was vice president of Stora Enso Purchasing and Transport, acting as CFO and responsible for global business development. He was also a member of Stora Enso’s Purchasing and Transport board of directors. Lars has been the chairman of the PAPINET organization and a member of the Western European EDIFACT board. He is currently a board member for a masters program of business meeting management. Lars received a master of science in mechanical engineering (special focus: material management) from the Institute of Technology at the University of Linköping, Sweden, and holds further qualifications in purchasing, negotiations, marketing, and sales.

 

Mikael Ekström – Senior Vice President , Product Management and Marketing

 Mikael Ekström is eBuilder’s senior vice president for Product Management and Marketing. He manages eBuilder’s complete worldwide offering. He has more than 20 years of experience in product management, sales, development, operations and management within global software and technology companies offering enterprise-level solutions. Prior to joining eBuilder, Mikael was the nordic services manager/senior product manager for Axway Nordic, the Nordic/Scandinavian branch of the global integration solutions/software supplier Axway. He held the position of senior product manager at Viewlocity Inc. and was in charge of global technical pre-sales at Frontec AMT, as well as working as a senior integration consultant for several years. Mikael is currently a board member of the Swedish organization Network for Electronic Business (NEA; www.nea.nu) and is co-author of the book Presentationer med Bildspel that details how to create professional presentations using, for example, PowerPoint. Mikael earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science before joining Frontec in the spring of 1987.

 

Anders Båth – Senior Vice President, Sales

Anders Båth is eBuilder’s senior vice president in charge of Sales. He brings to eBuilder more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, mainly in software companies, where he has held senior positions in management and sales. Prior to joining eBuilder, Anders was the managing director of Progress Software in the Nordic countries. He has also served as the managing director for Axway Nordic and Frontec EdiCom. Prior to this, Anders held positions in sales and management at Frontec Business Integration, Digital Equipment, and Bull. Anders holds a BSc in business administration and economics from the University of Uppsala.
